This year less alcohol: this is how you can do it

Gordon's 0.01% Gin

Helloooo new year, new me. No, okay, that's not the case for me, but I dared to tackle a few good resolutions again. And they were all quite achievable, but I was a bit skeptical about one: reducing alcohol. Consistently. Just a little more often declining and choosing a non-alcoholic option. It may sound very, but I find that seriously difficult. And so I wanted to make it less difficult for myself and then the saying ‘seek and you shall find’ came in handy: this is indeed the find of the year. Already.

I am actually a huge gin & tonic lover and that is also my biggest pitfall of this resolution. Because if I go for a non-alcoholic variant, it basically comes down to me being served a glass of tonic with ice, and that's just a bit less festive. And this may sound a bit strange, but tonic without gin tastes so much less good to me. I need that real gin flavor.

Now I have found the solution. Or well, I shouldn't take all the credit: Gordon’s has found the solution. You probably know them, because you have undoubtedly made many G&Ts with their Gordon’s London Dry Gin. Well, they have now launched a 0.01% variant on the market. WHUT? Yesss, and I can tell you: it is delicious and it genuinely tastes like gin. Without the gin. Do we still understand it?

The fact that it is almost indistinguishable from the alcoholic variant is because they are both made from juniper berries. I have always been a bit skeptical when a well-known brand makes their product alcohol-free, but I must say: this one has passed the test with flying colors. In fact, this is genuinely the best 0.01% of an alcoholic drink that I have discovered so far and that's why I had to share it with you. Gin & tonic, anyone? Cheers!

Enjoying 100% authentic flavor, but then with 0.01% alcohol? Mix 50 ml of Gordon’s 0.0 1% with ice, top up with 150 ml of tonic water and finish the glass with a wedge of lime.

No 18, no alcohol
