Here organic costs the same as a regular product

When I stand in front of a shelf in the supermarket and compare what the regular variant versus the organic costs, I always get a little shocked. The price tag gently nudges you towards the worse choice, even if you don't want that. Organic is sometimes less logical for your wallet.
My way of grocery shopping has changed. At first, I just recklessly grabbed the cheapest of the cheapest from the shelf, because: I didn't have a responsible salary to shop responsibly. Research shows that I'm not the only one in this, as the biggest barrier to choosing organic is the price. By now, I choose more and more for the organic variant, but it still sometimes bothers me that there is something to choose from. How twisted is it that we have a choice between a cheaper product made without love for the world or the better alternative? You would think that the better alternative should be the only alternative. It's better for the environment, better for the animals, better for the farmers, and also just better for yourself.

That had to change, thought supermarket PLUS. And that's why they are switching their private label to organic milk. It doesn't matter if you take semi-skimmed, bring home whole, choose buttermilk, or prefer skimmed: organic it is. What a great development this is, people. You might think now: I'll definitely feel that in my wallet and otherwise the milkman will. But no! PLUS takes responsibility for the world, the customer, and the suppliers. The farmer gets the price for the organic milk, the customer pays the price of a regular pack, and the world looks a little bit better.
Why is PLUS doing this? Because they believe it's time to change the mindset: organic must become the norm to make the world more organic. I think this term should be included in the Van Dale. Let's all become more organic. PLUS is leading the way and we are joining in. And if you think it stops at milk: that's not the case. In a few weeks, the house yogurt (low-fat and full-fat) will also be replaced by the organic alternative. Kudos!
PLUS will gradually replace the house milk with the organic variant in the coming weeks.
