How is Cameron Diaz doing now?
The stiff hairdo in There’s Something About Mary, dragging the suitcase along the path in The Holiday, and of course her voice in Shrek. After a short break, Cameron Diaz decided to retire from acting early. All of Hollywood was in shock, because in 2010 she was even the highest-paid actress in the world according to Forbes. How is she doing now?
In a recent interview, Cameron Diaz explains that just being an actress was no longer enough for her. There had to be room for the other sides of her, she wanted time to be at home and she just wanted to chill for once. Not crazy of course, when you've been at the top of your talent, visible everywhere and the center of attention for years. Meanwhile, La Diaz organizes her day very differently. She goes for a routine that works for her and does not work to keep up with her routine.
After her retirement as an actress, she first wrote The Body Book. Since last year, Cameron Diaz has her own wine brand. An important motivation for starting a new job was that she could do her work from home AND her love for wine. Together with her business partner Katherine Power, she launched the organic wine brand Avaline in July 2020, a type of wine that won't give you a pounding headache the next day. Good find, Cameron, good find.

She is still together with musician Benji Madden and fun fact: the two were introduced to each other by Nicole Richie. That turned out well, because now they are sisters-in-law. Together with him, she has a daughter and enjoys all the time she now has to spend with her. Diaz says it is her favorite part of her life. From what it sounds like, the actress is doing more than well and we won't be seeing her in a new movie anymore.
