We have a little house near Ostuni in the south of Italy. Ostuni is also known as the white city because as you approach it, you see a white oasis of ancient buildings and worn cobblestones. Even the laundry that flutters so beautifully Italian between the houses seems white.

That's why I knew when my eye fell on this set: want, must, and will. But not during meals, because my daughters always order orecchiette pomodoro (a local dish) and tomato and white and linen outfits are not the best match. But a coffee or an aperitif, that works fine. I also wear a necklace from La DoubleJ, a lovely brand I found at Pauw, and finish it off with my trusty travel companions: the wedges from Hermès and the you-can't-get-me-full-no-matter-how-hard-you-try from Louis Vuitton. And of course, finally, such a lovely shell anklet that I bought from that nice gentleman at La Rotonda.
Are you by any chance going to Puglia? You probably want to know this.
