Science says: about these 30 things couples often argue

woman and man arguing

Fighting: sometimes it is so delightful. Of course, you shouldn't make it a habit, but now and then adding a little fuel to the fire should be fine. Now I must mention that I am not always taken seriously by my boyfriend anymore. Especially not when I shout for the umpteenth time: “You have to keep conquering me, otherwise I will really be gone soon.” Well, I am just a drama queen.

One couple may argue more often than another couple, but we all fight. People who claim to never have disagreements with their loved one, I don't believe or I just don't want to believe it. Because how do they do that exactly? And could I perhaps receive some tips about that? Whether you argue a lot or a little, research (2019) shows that there are clear similarities in the topics we bicker about. The researchers asked 107 couples which topics are sensitive. This resulted in a clear top 30. I recognize (almost) all of them.
