Allerlekkerst: kruidnoten met Licor 43

chocolate spice nuts with Licor 43

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: all-time best: spice nuts with Licor 43.

I admit: I was also complaining a bit when I saw the spice nuts lying on the shelves again. Because seriously: it was already September this year or something. As far as I'm concerned, a bit on the early side, but now that it's raining buckets from the sky more often, I think it's perfectly fine. I nestle on the couch with a blanket and a bag of spice nuts, you won't hear me complain anymore.

But if I go wild on those spice nuts, I want the best of the best, so the ones with chocolate. And preferably only those with white chocolate (I always throw away the dark and milk ones).

Spice nuts + white chocolate + Licor 43 = heavenly
But now I found a recipe that is even more heavenly than those white chocolate spice nuts, namely this one from the Airfryer cookbook. And really: hats off to this. It's not difficult to make, looks mega delicious, and they are too. They have a recipe where you can make the spice nuts yourself, but I guess that's too much work for many people (I'm mainly talking about myself), so I'm just going to buy the spice nuts and then make that delicious layer of white chocolate and Licor 43 on top myself. In fact, I'm going to do that this weekend. It's going to be terrible weather anyway.

And, were you also surprised that this recipe is in a cookbook for the Airfryer? I was too, but you can easily bake spice nuts in the Airfryer. Learned something new and now I actually want to make it completely myself, because I'm quite curious about it.
