Research: these are the most annoying celebrities of the moment

Sometimes complaining is just so nice. Complaining about it being too hot, complaining about it being too cold, complaining about André and Monique breaking up again, complaining about everyone complaining about that again... Just complaining, really.

And complaining about celebrities is definitely something many people feel guilty about. Kim Kardashian is literally always in the news, and every day there are people reacting with: ‘what is she actually famous for?’ or: ‘the Kardashians have no talent’. Website ranker.com decided to conduct a little research in the form of a poll: which celeb do we currently find the most annoying? The votes have been counted and the results are here. This isn't entirely true by the way: it's a list where you can keep voting for people until the end of 2021, and then the dubious ‘winner’ will be announced. You can vote here, if you feel like it.

1. Amber Heard
An actress who is still embroiled in a lawsuit with ex Johnny Depp. The internet has already taken several actions to ‘cancel’ her, because they find it unfair that Johnny keeps losing roles because of this lawsuit, which is not the case for her. And this while the evidence against her keeps piling up (audio clips in which she abuses him have, for example, been leaked).

2. Evan Rachel Wood
I really don't understand this one at all. What is annoying about her? If I think anything of her, it's that she is incredibly brave; she came forward with her experience with Marilyn Manson. Earlier this year, she shared how he abused her and kept her trapped in their relationship.

3. James Charles
I do understand this one. In the Netherlands, he isn't that big; he was more so in America, until it became clear that he was approaching underage boys on social media to send him nude photos. He posted an apology video on YouTube, but people weren't waiting for that; James Charles is officially canceled.

4. Chrissy Teigen
This one might come as a surprise too, but in America, they are currently not huge fans of her. This is because ten years ago she sent private messages to then sixteen-year-old Courtney Stodden telling her to commit suicide. Reason: Courtney married the fifty years older actor Doug Hutchison (that terrible guy from The Green Mile — if you know, you know). Chrissy spoke out online this year about online bullying and she got quite a backlash.

5. Jake Paul
Famous YouTuber who, like James Charles, has also messed it up a bit for himself. He organized big house parties during corona, posted videos where he drove under the influence, and is now boxing against other YouTubers (with mediocre success). His latest victim in the ring is Floyd Mayweather, if it were up to him.

6. Kylie Jenner
Honestly: I expected the KarJenners to be a bit higher on the list, but here she is, at number six: Kylie Jenner. Well, people always find a reason to find her annoying, so I can't give one in particular.

7. Kim Kardashian
And we're off: right behind her is another family member. Just like with Kylie, people always have something to complain about Kim, so whether she has really done something wrong lately... Yes, maybe that she stopped Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I find that really annoying.

8. Kris Jenner
Momager Kris comes next and I really wonder why Khloé isn't higher. If there's anyone who seems to do nothing right on social media, it's her. She is ‘only’ at number 12 and hasn't even made the top ten.

9. Jeffree Star
Like James Charles, Jeffree is also an American makeup artist who is/was big on YouTube. Recently, he was in the news because he was said to have an affair with Kanye West. Still bizarre that people really believed that.

10. Kathy Griffin
I actually hardly know this actress, except that she received a whole lot of criticism when she posed with Donald Trump's severed head. Uh, whut? Yes, it was indeed not tasteful: not how it looked, but also the overall action.
