Smoreverliefd on the strawberry BBQ S’mores

If you really love good comfort food, you can definitely remember this delicious oven dish: our marshmallow chocolate cookie dip. In other words: a fluffy marshmallow texture with melted milk chocolate and cookies that, once dipped in the dish, is compared to a bite from heaven. Absolutely delicious. But a bit heavy on the stomach during a sultry summer evening on your terrace. So although the title gives it away a bit, I won't keep you in suspense any longer and make your mouth water... May I introduce you to the S’mores summer edition: the strawberry BBQ S’mores with, yes: a lot of strawberries. A case of: you want to try it ASAP. And making it yourself is really very easy, just check it out quickly.
What you need:
- milk chocolate
- fresh strawberries
- that you all roast in the fire.
- A pack of tea biscuits or other favorite cookies
And this is how you whip it together:
1. Fire up your barbecue. Break the chocolate into 10-12 pieces. Remove the tops from the strawberries and cut the strawberries in half.
2. Spread the marshmallows over a cast iron pan (or put them in an aluminum grill tray) and place the chocolate in between. Bake for 3 to 4 minutes with the lid on the barbecue until the marshmallows turn light brown and become soft. Distribute the strawberries over the marshmallows, stick the biscuits in, and voilà, you’re in 3, 2, 1… Smorever in love.
