The Club of 27: who belongs to this?

It is the club of celebrities that no one wants to be part of. The Club of 27 consists solely of celebrities who died far too early: at the age of 27 indeed. A grim coincidence, that is something that is certain. Most ‘members’ are from a few years ago, but Amy Winehouse also belongs to this club, for example. And you might be surprised at how many of these artists you know. Here it is: the list of members of The Club of 27. Amy Winehouse (September 14, 1983 – July 23, 2011): the singer died of alcohol poisoning in her London home.
Kurt Cobain (February 20, 1967 – April 5, 1994): the frontman of Nirvana died by suicide in his home in Seattle.
Jimi Hendrix (November 27, 1942 – September 18, 1970): this rock legend died of asphyxiation.
Janis Joplin (January 19, 1943 – October 4, 1970): she died far too young from a heroin overdose in Hollywood.
Jim Morrison (December 8, 1943 – July 3, 1971): the singer of The Doors died of a heroin overdose in an apartment in Paris.
Brian Jones (February 28, 1942 – July 3, 1969): former member and co-founder of The Rolling Stones drowned in a swimming pool. An accident, according to the police.
Anton Yelchin (March 11, 1989 – June 19, 2016): this actor from Star Trek died in a bizarre freak accident: his car rolled down his driveway and pinned him, causing him to suffocate.
Richey James Edwards (December 22, 1967, disappeared on February 1, 1995): the guitarist of The Manic Street Preachers missed his flight to the US on February 1, where he was supposed to go for a promotional tour. He then disappeared near the border of Wales, England, and was never found. In 2008, he was declared dead.
Jonathan Brandis (April 13, 1976 – November 12, 2003): this actor was especially known as a child in Hollywood. He committed suicide in his apartment in LA.
