Fun fact: did you know that the famous and infamous Magic Wand from Hitachi was not originally intended as a sex toy? It was actually meant as a massage device. Really, how they didn't see this coming at the headquarters as a sex toy I will never understand, but anyway: it became a hit. Not that Hitachi was happy about it, though: it is originally a Japanese company (although production was done in China) and they found it absolutely unacceptable that their company suddenly gained fame in the sex industry.
