The most exclusive club in the world can be found in… Disneyland

Forget Michelin stars, forget the most beautiful rooftop bars, forget actually all the hotspots you know; this is the only restaurant that matters. Especially for me, since I am a big Disney fan. And as soon as something is very exclusive, everyone suddenly wants it, right? That's why it has become my life goal to someday get into Club 33. In Disneyland. Whut? Yes, Disneyland seriously has an exclusive club/restaurant just for members.

You can find it in Disneyland, but not in the one in Paris. The very first Club 33 opened its doors in Anaheim, California, and they now also have locations in Disneyland Tokyo and Disneyland Shanghai. They have also opened their doors in Walt Disney World in Orlando (Florida). If you are a member, you have access to all locations, because that is the only way to get in here: by obtaining a membership.

Now there are a few problems with that membership. Problem number one: in 2011 there was a waiting list of no less than 14 years and the waiting list was closed. In 2012 it reopened (after five years), but the number of years does not decrease. So sign up in advance, and hopefully you have enough time to save up the amount. Because that is problem number two: it costs quite a bit. As in: $30,000. Per. YEAR. Oh yes, and you also initially pay a one-time initiation fee between $25,000 to $100,000. Holy shitballs, how cool must that place be?

Website Insider spoke with one of the lucky few who has been inside, and who — luckily for us — also took photos. This anonymous member of Club 33 even has a whole Instagram account with photos from inside, the bar, and the food. The address is New Orleans Square 33 (hence the name), and where you used to have to press a bell, you now have to hold your card against the door.

Well, does the food really look that special that it is worth $30,000? No idea, but it seems so cool to enjoy an exclusive dinner in the most mysterious place in all of Disneyland. And that you see guests like Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp around you, because they also seem to be members.

Well, you understand: saving has started for me. Someday I will throw a huge party here. Or just take a look inside, that seems a bit more realistic.
