These celebs really give terrible tips

Maybe it's because I've worked in the hospitality industry for years, but when someone gives little tip, I'm really turned off immediately. Someone who rounds €98.50 up to €100. I have my thoughts on doing that with a straight face, but in America, it's even more serious, because there the service staff generally earns shockingly little. They are completely dependent on their tips and sometimes even have to pay extra if they haven't collected enough.

Then you would think that you are set for tips if you have a rich celeb at the table. Well, not at all. At least, not if you have to serve one of the celebs below. They are known for giving little tips. Shame.

1. Madonna
She has already been publicly shamed multiple times for not giving a single cent in tips, even though she came in with a decent group. Apparently, that hasn't helped, because no improvement has been spotted.

2. Katherine Heigl
On set, she doesn't have the best reputation either, but it's no different in the hospitality scene. She is also known for not giving a cent.

3. Tiger Woods
This one is even worse: this man actually takes his tip back. He did this when he played a hand in Blackjack for €10,000. You would think he could miss it… Not at all. He also seems to be very bad with tips in restaurants.

4. Bill Cosby
Once left three dollars tip on a bill of €350. We already knew he was a nasty guy, but still.

5. Sean Penn
Went out to eat in New Orleans with friends, paid the bill of €450 and he was gone. No. Cent. Tip.

6. Mark Zuckerberg
Seriously?! This guy is one of the richest in the world. So a trip to Rome is really pocket change for him. Unfortunately, he didn't spare that for the waitress when he was dining in the Italian capital.

7. Usher
This is serious, you know: Usher is known for leaving his autograph instead of a tip. A bit narcissistic, isn't it?

8. Jeremy Piven
Who, you might think. That one guy from Entourage, that's at least the only thing I know him from. I guess he assumes that too: instead of a tip, he once left a signed DVD of the series. Pff.

9. Michael Jordan
Literally, not a single story about him that I've read is positive, so this doesn't surprise me. Even his friends admit that he doesn't tip, because good friend Charles Barkley told Sports Illustrated that Jordan is ‘as cheap as they come.’.

10. Kendall Jenner
Aiii, this one is also ugly, you know. When she was not yet 21, a restaurant refused to serve her alcohol, after which she threw a scene and stormed out of the restaurant. Right: without paying. When they chased after her, she threw twenty-dollar bills at the staff without counting if it was even enough to pay the bill. Unfortunately, this is not the only bad experience the serving staff has had with Kendall.

11. Serena Williams
Went out to eat at a steakhouse in Harlem, New York, with six others. The bill: €400. The tip: €0. And there was no thank you either.

12. Gwyneth Paltrow
Has stated that her bad behavior regarding tipping comes from being ‘bad at math.’ You would think you could have a calculator with you 24/7, on your phone for example.
