These pesto cookies are a hit on TikTok

Since I discovered TikTok, I've really added so many food items and recipes to my standard repertoire. And, to be honest: they are mainly easy recipes that are quick to prepare and that everyone likes. A win-win situation, because I've already surprised many guests with my TikTok creations. The latest hit is these pesto cookies, from the account @hapjesvanmaurits.

Actually, it's not entirely his recipe; it's actually his mother's. So here it is: thanks, Maurits' mom! These pesto cookies are really delicious.

But you need four (!) ingredients
Look, that's what I love. Not having to spend hours emptying the supermarket, but just four ingredients and you're done. Five if you want to make it non-vegetarian, by the way. The shopping list looks like this: puff pastry, cheese, pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. TOP. And then maybe some Parma ham if you want to make it with meat. Sounds good too.

Then just roll it up, put it in the freezer, slice it, and into the oven. Sounds simple, and it is. So easy that it can be fully explained in a TikTok video of less than a minute. And the most important thing: how delicious it is. Just check for yourself.
