This is what you want: a stairway to wine heaven

Wine cellar completely in order at your home? At least a neat rack where everything fits? Or just, you know, a few bottles plopped here and there on any empty surface in your kitchen? This Australian carpenter (feel free to call him a master carpenter) came up with a fantastic storage system – not for shoes or bags or other junk, but for liters and liters wine…
It may be really early in the morning, but it is indeed The Day of French Gastronomy. And thinking of France, we see endless caves full of wine before us, and we hope so dearly that we can soon visit the beloved holiday country again and return with trunks full of Burgundy wines. And then we want this. Two stairs in the house, and even the one to the floor where the children sleep can be completely stuffed this way.
I see dead space
Murray Berril, whom we all want as a handyman now, told the Australian Daily Mail that he hates ‘dead space’ when renovating houses for sale, because you are essentially paying for nothing. So now I can only see corners and crevices in the house where nothing happens while there could have been wine. Such a waste...

Berrill the Builder
Berrill and his team created detailed construction drawings and conducted tests for this first wine staircase to ensure that it would hold up. It can hold as many as one hundred and fifty-six bottles, it has a built-in thermometer, and they are working on adding a cooling element.
They posted photos of it on social media and people went crazy. The only complaint? ‘Too few steps,’ someone joked. Meanwhile, we can only dream of all the delicious bottles we would finally have space for. Pinot Grigio, Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir – mom is just going up the stairs...
