Today we break with good intentions

Sometimes a relationship just doesn't work. That's the case between me and my good intentions. I always find it such a struggle to stick to a good intention. Thank god I'm not alone.
My resolution for this year is to eat healthier. Quite original. Maybe even boring, if I'm honest. Just because I love to eat and cook delicious food. I'm curious how long I can stick to this culinary resolution.
What turns out? According to a forecast from Deliveroo, after an average of two and a half weeks, the good eating resolution of the Dutch is over. On January 16 at 7:07 PM, we Dutch massively break our gastronomic resolution. That's even before Blue Monday.
What are we cheating on? Hamburgers are the most popular. Around 7:00 PM, the burger breaks the record by being ordered 82 percent more than usual. In a nice second place is sweets. Sales of these increase by 78 percent compared to the first week of the year.
Fun fact: In Eindhoven, people stick to their good resolutions the best.
Deliveroo even predicts in which city they order what. In Amsterdam, people go wrong with cake and in The Hague with a cold beer. Bye bye Dry January.
Are you sticking to your healthy resolution or are you, like me, having beer and burgers with ice cream tonight? Because if you're going to do it, do it right.
