Vacuuming in the dark

I have a few domestic hobbies. Ironing for example, but certainly also vacuuming. I find it unbelievable every time how much difference a ‘vacuumed’ floor makes. And with a dog, three daughters, a husband, and a lot of traffic in the house, my living room (and the hallway not to forget) is definitely in need of a vacuum. Now, with my Philips stick vacuum (I have the Series 8000 Aqua Plus, which also comes with a mopping segment that allows you to vacuum and mop at the same time), it's no trouble at all because it looks beautiful hanging in a corner and I can grab it in one smooth motion, but when it's dark, vacuuming is really a treat.

This Philips Series 8000 Aqua Plus has LED lighting in the suction head and especially when you're vacuuming in a somewhat dark room, it elevates the word ‘satisfying’ to a whole new level. You see every hair, dust particle, sprinkle right in your sight, but most importantly, you then see all the mess just disappear, poof, into the dustbin. Emptying it, hanging your stick vacuum back up and giving it a little tap as thanks for its services, and then gently plopping down on your fluffed, crumb-free couch... That's almost therapeutic, so nice.
