Suddenly, there is a small envelope on my doormat containing a kind of small dried nuts. I think I need some help with this, what can I do with it? Fortunately, there were Isabel and Anke, the owners of the skincare brand CÎME, to tell me all about these little caps, and of course about the rest of their products. The nuts come straight from the Himalayas and only grow high in the mountains where the air is clean and fresh. I had to wet them and then they become soaps. How fun is that? I still find it remarkable how natural products can surprise you like this. The ingredients from their collection all come from this special area, which — as you can guess — is not very easily accessible. The products consist of powerful plant extracts, oils, and are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids. As we speak, I am reapplying my lips with Le Baume by CÎME and it is nice, specially designed for the lips and dry skin. This morning I completely applied my body with l’Huile by CÎME, a dry oil that makes me very happy. I am quite allergic to anything sticky, especially when it’s all over my body. It makes me really irritable. So when I find a product that is easy to apply (because: not always a lot of time), absorbs quickly, and also makes my skin super soft, then I am seriously sold and don’t want anything else. By the way, I completely forget to mention that I can also take care of the ends of my hair with the leftover on my hands, because it is also suitable for that. And not unimportantly: it also has a nice price. Last but not least: they donate every year to the Little Doctors school project in Nepal and work together with WeForest and local farmers, which means they don’t transport tons of plants but only the concentrated extracts. Better for the ecological footprint and better for the environment, that makes me happy.
