If you ever receive a proposal, let it be so

marriage proposal during Adele's show

Is it just me or do I have to cry at everything Adele this month? First of all, of course, with ‘Easy On Me’, because what a song. Then I couldn't hold back the tears when I saw Adele and her teacher again, that was so sweet. And then that marriage proposal, I was sniffing and sobbing like there was no tomorrow. I cried without exception every time Adele cried, so maybe it's just the woman herself.

First of all, you're already quite genius if you think about proposing to your beloved at an Adele concert. And not just any concert, but the first time Adele is back on stage in four years. Quentin signed up for a TV show for some help with his Big Question. In hindsight, this turned out to be one big air castle, as it was all meant to get on the show with Adele. Anyways, of course every mortal thinks that a song by Adele is ‘our’ song, but for Quentin and Ashley, it officially is.

Adele urged the audience to be quiet and quickly added that she would kill anyone who made a noise. Well, then you better keep your mouth shut. ‘Quentin has been with his girlfriend for seven years. Seven years is like when you normally say yes or no to spending your life together, the ‘seven year itch’. Tonight, they have date night together, and we are going to make that very special,’ she announced the proposal.

With headphones and a blindfold on, Quentin guides his beloved Ashley into the studio. When she takes it off, she finds her boyfriend on one knee. And then follows the sweetest and most genuine proposal ever. Ashley is especially glad she didn't eat before he went down on one knee, because hell yes, she would have thrown up, she says in between. His declaration of love and her reaction is everything a proposal should be. In case you haven't seen it yet: already the marriage proposal of the century at the phenomenal concert of Adele. By the way, grab the tissues and make sure you're in a place where you can cry your heart out.
