Why you really can't wait for The Crown 5

I have to say I raised an eyebrow when I read that Dominic West would play Prince Charles. Dominic West presses all the erogenous buttons and Prince Charles, well, he puts them back to sleep. I also found it a shame that Diana, who was portrayed so wonderfully by Emma Corrin, has to be replaced by Elizabeth Debicki. The ‘nice’ thing is that Debicki stays until Diana's death, so we don't have to get used to another actor switch.

The bad news is that we have to wait at least until mid-2022 for a new season of The Crown. The upside of the downside is that you know that intense work is being done on a new season, because ‘rushing’ or ‘cutting corners’ is not in the creators' vocabulary.

For now, we have to be satisfied with some photos from the shoots, like now from the famous trip of Charles and Diana from Mallorca to Italy on his favorite yacht, the Alexandra. At that time, they were still officially together, but Diana often admitted that their marriage was on the verge of ‘imploding’ (it remains the British royal family) and moreover, she would have already made several suicide attempts during that period.

What do I think of the photos? It seems, I still need to get used to it a bit. I miss Diana's wavy locks and find Dominic, although at least the sexiest ever, still way too handsome to represent Charles. But hey, it does look good.
