William, Harry and the three biggest models ever

Today we remember Lady Diana. July 1, 2021 is the day The Queen of Hearts would have turned sixty. Who knows, maybe she can posthumously bring her sons who are ‘on different paths’ a little closer together. Because if there is one thing Diana was a master at, it was getting things done gently. A gift when you are trapped in the strict rules of The Firm.

I think her sweetest stunt was this one when the boys were in their teenage years. She knew everyone and everything, so for her it was just a snap of the fingers to arrange Christie Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell. William had posters of them in his room, but when he came home from school one day, these three supermodels were at the top of the stairs. He almost fell down the stairs from embarrassment. I hope with all my heart that William and Harry recall this anecdote together tonight. Among other things.
