5 awesome ideas for an unforgettable bachelorette party

Somewhere on vacation in a faraway land, a bride or groom usually drops to one knee to ask if there will still be a wedding. And then begins the big planning of a bachelorette party for you as the support and confidant. Of course, the ceremony is nice, but the party beforehand is at least as important.
To begin with, you need to be clear about a few things. Who is allowed to come and who especially not? It's better to be clear about this before you suddenly forget a distant family friend and it causes trouble. What does the bride(groom) want and what will not make the person in question unhappy? Better safe than sorry. And finally, there is an important question to ask yourself: is this the party you enjoy or the person it’s about? Once that is all clear, here are five nice ideas for the second most fun day.
1. Do something you normally never do
I let my best friend play bumper ball on the beach in a gigantic inflatable ball, where she disappeared into. Three days later, she was still shaking sand out of her hair. Another friend we let sumo wrestle in a huge suit. Always think of a weird activity. A bachelorette party should always be a bit unexpected and awkward.
2. Go to Paris (or just go away)
A bachelorette party only becomes truly unforgettable if you also stay somewhere overnight. It can of course be in Paris, but a little cabin in the woods usually suffices as well. The story always becomes a bit more fun when you stare at each other with a huge hangover at breakfast the next morning. The togetherness element makes a bachelorette party just a bit more next level. Tip: does this not fit everyone’s budget? Suggest starting to save together in time. With a small amount each month, it hits less hard.
3. The trip down memory lane
Do what you used to always do together. Have lunch at your old spot, dine at your favorite Italian, get ready at someone’s home, and dance where you used to. A few elements from your younger years work nostalgically, and bachelorette parties are always a bit like that. Mix in something awkward and you have a delightful day.
4. Party at a festival
If you prefer to hang out all day in the lights, then go together to a favorite festival. Did she always want to go to Lowlands? Arrange Lowlands. Is he nostalgic about DJ Paul Elstak? Go to Defqon. Crazy about covering endless distances while dancing? Arrange a visit to Down The Rabbit Hole. Just make sure to have a nice long lunch together beforehand, but after that, it’s dancing until the sun goes down and comes back up.
5. Namasteeeheeeeee
Can you make your bestie any unhappier than with a drinking spree or a game of musical chairs in a crowded club? Arrange a retreat, go for the most divine spa day imaginable, and do yoga until you drop. It’s about the bride/groom having an unforgettable day, and in the meantime, you can enjoy that delicious massage. And by the way, it’s never a bad idea to make a stressed bride(groom) to be relax.
