These are the 50 best pizzerias in Europe

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: the 50 best pizzerias in Europe
When an Italian organization holds a competition to determine what the 50 best pizzas in Europe are, you know it’s serious. I mean: that’s a bit more significant than when, for example, Sweden hands out a pizza award. Not that we’re saying that they don’t know about good food in Sweden, but because, just like us in the Netherlands, they don’t hand out - Swedish meatballsawards, we take an Italian judgment on pizza the most seriously. And that’s why we’re quite happy with this list. And, well… Italy itself obviously didn’t participate in the competition, because the fact that they make the best pizzas there is beyond doubt for the country of origin.
Not only does the Netherlands look remarkably good with a pretty high position, we also now know where to go in all of Europe for the best pizza in our continent. Whether you’re in Copenhagen, Riga, Ljubljana, Brussels, London, Paris, or Madrid and get a pizza craving, you will absolutely get your money’s worth in these pizzerias according to the organization 50 Top Pizza Europe 2022 (the most influential pizza guide in the world):
These are the 50 best pizzas and pizzerias in Europe 2022 (Italy not included):

The winner is firmly in the saddle
The first prize goes to Peppe Pizzeria in Paris. The pizzeria of Italian Peppe Cutraro can even call itself the best in Europe for the second time in a row. The second prize goes to Fratelli Figurato in Madrid, then comes 50 Kalò in London and then we happily skip to number 11: Nnea in Amsterdam! Yes! If you read FavorFlav faithfully, you might already know that this is truly an amazing pizzeria, as we previously praised it.
And apparently, the Italian experts think so too. The first 25 places are also competing in the 100 Best Pizzerias in the world; an award ceremony that takes place in mid-June in New York. Go for it, Nnea!
