For the fans of BiFi: this is what you want

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: for the fans of Bifi: this is what you want.

As if it was meant to be, I discovered a new product. I actually almost never check the Action flyer online, until this week. And there it was all of a sudden: the Bifi sausage, but different. A Bifi product that I don't know? Excuse me? I obviously have to try this immediately. And you too. Sure, it looks a bit questionable (just like the Bifi sausage itself), but this can only be a resounding success, right?

Is it a hotdog? Is it some kind of crazy variant of the American corn dog? I genuinely have no idea, but my first impression was not necessarily that it would be Italian. Looks can be deceiving, it turns out.

Bifi Bakehouse Italian Herbs Roll
A mouthful, but this is it. It does have an Italian touch (although the Italians would probably be extremely furious about this, I guess, because this has nothing to do with Bella Italia), as they use Italian herbs. And it is the old, familiar Bifi sausage, but then wrapped in a crispy layer. This is how it is described on the Action site, and I have a bit of trouble with that word ‘crispy‘. It actually looks much more like a hotdog, and I don't need that bun to be crispy.

Well, we obviously have to try this en masse and I am also very curious what you all think of this new Bifi family member. I will definitely head to Action first thing tomorrow morning, you understand.
