30 x the biggest annoyances while flying

Actually, my irritations about flying start at the airport. For example, when you are automatically checked in but still have to go to that counter because you apparently didn't download the boarding passes correctly. Then the gate is a hassle to walk to, because you're not flying with KLM but with easyJet. This means you have to wait in a part of the airport where there's hardly anything to eat or shop. And then that one moment at the gate when everyone starts lining up even though boarding hasn't even started yet. That really annoys me. But once on the plane, most irritations obviously occur. I admit: they are all a bit of luxury problems, but I still want to complain about them.

1. Children kicking your seat.

2. Crying babies on board.

3. Smelly and sweaty people.

4. People next to you talking loudly.

5. People who actually need two seats.

6. People reclining their seats while you're eating.

7. Snoring people.

8. Hasty people who immediately run out of the plane.

9. People taking off their shoes and socks.

10. When the chicken dish is gone and you have to order pasta.

11. People who have their reading light on while you want to sleep.

12. People laughing or crying out loud at their movie.

13. Flight attendants acting like nothing is wrong while you're almost crashing.

14. People who also have a fear of flying and make you even more scared.

15. Having to walk ten kilometers to the baggage claim after your flight.

16. Drunk people acting silly.

17. A couple that is way too clingy next to you.

18. People behind you pushing your seat back while you have the right to recline it.

19. Flight attendants waking you up in the middle of your sleep because you need to buckle your seatbelt.

20. Turbulence.

21. Having to make a go-around and thinking you're going to die.

22. No tasty snacks on board.

23. Sitting by the aisle and having to stand up for people next to you who need to pee.

24. The food cart moving at a snail's pace down the aisle, making it impossible for you to go to the bathroom.

25. Not being able to watch a movie an hour before landing because the in-flight entertainment system is turned off.

26. Hand luggage that you have to check in because the compartment above your row is full.

27. People clapping after landing.

28. Children's hands touching you through the seats.

29. Having to store your luggage very far away because the overhead bin above your row is full.

30. Someone next to you throwing up in the white bag.
