Oooh guys, I have a wonderful tip for you. I'm completely in my jewelry phase and I've discovered a nice brand. Do you know that feeling, that you go through certain phases every now and then? Before this, I had my shoe phase (mainly sneakers), and before that, I wanted all the new gadgets from Apple. The latter was by far my most expensive phase so far. But anyway, now I'm in my jewelry phase and I have ByJacky, House of Jewellery, discovered.

ByJacky was founded by Jacky Swinkels, who has been in the jewelry business for over twelve years. She worked at jewelers in the Netherlands, but she is also a gemologist and obtained her certificate in Antwerp. In short, someone who knows a lot more about it than I do. Two and a half years ago, she started ByJacky, where she sells jewelry and jewels from various high-end brands.

There are quite a few, check them out here. I think that's really great, because this way I also get to know different brands — I'm still really a novice in that area. The items she sells in her online store are truly beautiful. They are high-quality items and you can see that immediately. In the past, I often made mistakes by being seduced by pretty pictures and low prices, but by now I know: cheap is really expensive when it comes to jewels and jewelry. That's why I prefer one beautiful, precious, and timeless item over something that breaks after wearing it twice.

That's why I'm now saving for my own Christmas gift from ByJacky, because yes: I believe you should treat yourself at Christmas too. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.
