Celebs who know each other from a blind date

Maybe I should just give in to it. I find dating absolutely terrible and actually don't do it by definition. And if I do make a date, I cancel it. I just find it terrifying. Almost a kind of fear of failure. So a blind date? Oh, please no, I say. What if he/she sees you, walks away, and leaves you sitting there? I would be genuinely crying in the restaurant. But okay, some people dare to do this, and successfully so. Even celebs apparently sometimes go on a blind date and some relationships have even come out of it. I do wonder a bit how ‘blind’ that date really is, because if you're sent on a date with Prince Harry, you do know (I hope) who it is, right? And yes, this is a fitting example, because that's how he got into his current relationship. Just like the other celebs on this list.

1. Meghan Markle & Prince Harry
Yes, I mentioned him briefly, but these two met each other through a blind date. At least, that's the story. Evil tongues claim that Meghan had been trying to snag a royal for years. Anyway, their ‘blind’ date was in 2016, at the Soho House in London.

2. Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt
I need to have a serious chat with my girlfriends because I want a blind date like this too, and since most of them are already in a relationship, I think they should send me on a good blind date. The date was arranged in 1998 by their managers.

3. Khloé Kardashian & Tristan Thompson
Hmm, this one didn't quite work out. Poor Khloé, because I think Tristan can only cheat. Their mutual friend, Brandon Jennings, should have sensed that better when he sent the two on a blind date in 2016.

4. Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds
Actually, this one doesn't count, but since they are still so happy together, I'm including it anyway. These two already knew each other, as they both starred in Green Lantern in 2010. However, the spark didn't fly then; that happened when they went on a double date with other people as their own dates. So it's a sweet story.

5. Elsa Pataky & Chris Hemsworth
Uh, YES PLEASE. Give me a blind date like that, and quickly. They were both at the same dialect coach, who sent the two on a blind date. She gave Chris Elsa's number, after which he left her a voicemail. Note to self: maybe listen to your voicemail, you never know, there might be a message from Chris Hemsworth. You never know.

6. Taylor Swift & Calvin Harris
Mutual friend Ellie Goulding sent Taylor and Calvin out in 2015. Successfully, because in the end, they had quite a relationship for a while. Until the bomb exploded and Calvin went off on Twitter after their breakup.
