Chanel verlangens: Métiers d’Art 2021/22

It was at the last minute of 2021 one of the most beautiful shows of the year: Chanel's Métiers d’Art. This is how our favorite French fashion house paid an extra special tribute to all their loyal, long-term partners, under the roof of 19M in Paris. From shoemakers and milliners to jewelry experts; this is their moment to shine. The inspiration for the collection was drawn, among other things, from the architectural style of 19M (Chanel's new office, designed by Rudy Ricciotti), which was especially reflected in the graphic and silver embroidery from atelier Montex. Urban, yet refined, with the favorite being the tweed jackets with knitwear sleeves, graffiti-style embroidery, Mary Jane heels, and colored beads.
Why am I telling you this on a tropical day in June? Because preparation is still half the battle and your wishlist desperately needs to be updated. And guess what? This amazing collection is finally available for purchase at the Chanel boutique starting this week. And believe me: even window shopping gives you a super satisfied feeling. So beautiful.
