We need to talk about the docu of André Hazes

Yep, I couldn't avoid it either: the docu about André Hazes on Videoland. Every time I opened my browser, there was something about the five-part documentary. And even though I wasn't planning to watch it, I still got FOMO and then I started it. And I also finished it, because the five episodes went by quite quickly. However, here's my first point of criticism: five episodes were really not necessary; three would have been enough for me. In fact, I wouldn't even really know what was discussed in episodes four and five.
Yes, in the very last episode he maybe said he wanted to go back to Monique, but I don't think there's really anyone left who is interested in the on-off-on-off-Bridget-on-off-off-Sarah-on-off-newSarah-off-on-off situation.
And I find that a bit disappointing about this docu: it was hyped so much beforehand that it could only fall short. Juice channels were full of it: André was supposedly in a rehab clinic, had moved to America, was addicted, was sober again, was with Sarah van Soelen, then dumped her, and was heading back to Spain; all sorts of rumors were circulating, but we knew nothing for sure since André had a media blackout. Mystery all around and that is of course very exciting.
So I was ready to be surprised by that docuseries. That we would see how intense it all was, we would see an honest André, get a very different picture of him. Maybe it's just me, but my image of him hasn't really changed after watching this docu. Yes, he was addicted to cocaine and even performed under the influence. But then he wanted to do something about it and now he is sober, and we see that for five episodes while André reflects on his former self on a couch.
I found it quite remarkable that he kept saying that his former self was constantly lying. He said at the time that he was so happy, everything was good, perfect, super, but that was all fake. However, apart from some external changes, I don't really see a very different person. Of course, it's super impressive that he has gotten sober, hats off to that, but that could have been discussed in half an hour.
What I really wanted to know, he didn't tell. Whether he wanted to or not (and probably not), Yvonne Coldeweijer has been quite a prominent figure in his life over the past year, so she had to be discussed too. Yes, she had been right twice and he respected that, but according to André, those two times gave her unwarranted credibility, because apart from those two times, it was all lies. All of it. And André could prove it.
But André didn't do that. And then I was disappointed.
I was also a bit disappointed that it was never mentioned that Rachel Hazes and André Hazes sr. were in the middle of a divorce when he passed away. The picture was painted as if his upbringing was special, but nothing about the arguments and how he dealt with this divorce. Seems like a pretty important detail to me.
Then last but very not least: did the sound do something weird for you too? Some parts were very quiet and every time Djarno spoke, the sound almost burst my TV.
