Expedition Robinson

Expedition Robinson is a bit of my bright spot in these dreary days. In fact, I am sometimes quite jealous: they are lying there wonderfully warm in the sun and here it is freezing cold. Well, just forget that almost all participants are a bunch of wimps for convenience. Also in this episode, apparently, sewer systems were checked again and yes: it still works for everyone.

1. Oh god, the meeting between Vincent and Thijs. And it is exactly as awkward as you would expect. Extremely. Cringe-worthy for the TV.

2. Thijs: ‘You are of course also outvoted because of m…’
Vincent: ‘BECAUSE OF?!’
Thijs: ‘Yes, because of me…’
Vincent: ‘BECAUSE OF YOU!’
Ah, the tone is set.

3. Vincent: ‘I am not going to do anything for you here, this is war island.’ I guess Thijs expected that a bit. But childish? Absolutely.

4. Thijs: ‘The atmosphere is fairly hostile.’ That is quite an understatement.

5. Niek who was wonderfully oiled and now all his pipes have been flushed. The sewers are working again. Is there such a thing as too much information at Expedition? Nah, this season everyone is peeing over each other and it’s non-stop wimping.

6. I found this trial a bit boring, and Ferry is also very timid about his victory: ‘A dream come true.’ And you radiate that, dear Ferry.

7. Niek who is scared because of his black voice. Seriously: if Niek goes home, I will break my TV and won't watch anymore.

8. Ferry: ‘I promised to take April with me… But I’m taking London.’ HAHA. Is this now going to be the thing at Expedition? Always taking someone else to Winner Island? That will be fun.

9. Meanwhile on the coziest island ever in the history of Expedition: ‘I threw up a couple of times last night.’ ‘That is, uh… Yeah, sucks man.’ *Chuckles inside*

10. How boring the trial just was, how exciting this balance beam is between Vincent and Thijs. On the left side, we have a participant taking off clothes and on the right side a participant in full wimping mode. Who is going to win?

11. Oh nooooo, Thijs. Shit, I actually hoped Thijs would win. That would have been a hilarious comeback.

12. Oooh, that poor Dzifa. Vincent is so in his element in his little villa there on Loser Island, that he tolerates nothing and no one extra. That will be cozy.

13. Just as cozy as on Twitter, because it was of course going off there again.
