Worries: the balaclava is the new trend from fashion land

We saw it for the first time walking down the runway at Gucci, Calvin Klein, and Fendi, and it definitely took some getting used to. In logomania, jacquard woven, fine cashmere, chunky knit, or even with studs, it's the balaclava that the fashion crowd is increasingly deciding to pull over their heads as the cold days multiply. And now I hear you thinking: the balaclava? Baklava? Bal what? It's definitely not the super sweet Turkish dessert made with filo dough. What are we talking about? The balaclava. Right, the kind of headgear that probably makes you think of a bank robbery, winter sports accessory, or the hat you had to wear as a child when it was freezing cold.
Next stop? On the terrace, in the city, or heading to the supermarket à la 2022. At least, if it’s up to the fashion-savvy people. And if you still have doubts about that (which we secretly understand), then Alexa Chung and Emili Sindlev are more than happy to bring about a change.
