After almost two years of swiping and endless walking dates, it's time to give fate a big push: Foodhallen Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam will be transformed into Flirthallen again on February 12 and 14, and it will be hotter than ever.

Maintaining a romantic relationship during the lockdowns is tough, but being single and unable to go anywhere might be even tougher. And now – finally – as the hospitality industry reopens, you can flirt to your heart's content again. The place to do that is Foodhallen, because let me tell you: there's a romance in the air.

Already spotted a potential match? Seize your chance on February 12 during the pre-Valentine's drink: Cupid will lovingly hand out a shot-to-the-heart to the lucky ones. Is it a hit? Perhaps you'll be enjoying a candlelight dinner at Foodhallen with your conquest on the 14th. Even quiet enjoyers can count on a ‘wingman’: hang a one-liner in the tree and have a chance to win a bottle of sparkling water. More of a competitive type? The floor is yours, so dare to take on a dance battle to the beats of DJ Matchmaker.

And fun: Foodhallen is giving away five fully catered dinners for two: a five-course candlelight Valentine's menu with booze pairing on February 14. Two winners will be ‘drawn’ during the above pre-party on February 12 and three winners will be chosen via Instagram – digital participation starts from January 25. In short, love conquers all.
