Who doesn't get cheerful from dog videos? My entire feed is now full of them, because my algorithm knows all too well that I am extremely sensitive to this. Why do I watch this all day long? Dogs just have this disarming quality about them: they are genuine, sweet, and predictable little creatures. In fact, dogs are like small children who cannot talk. Children say everything they think, and dogs do everything they think, which makes them so funny. ‘Doggedly rude’, that saying doesn't come from nowhere.
