6 reasons why I am in love with this Cortina

For a month now, a jaw drops on someone's shoes regularly when I throw my bike keys on the table instead of my car keys. Where I used to always find a reason to take the car, I sometimes can't even remember where I parked it last, having not used it for so long. Now I only see advantages in taking the bike. Now, this is not just any bike, it's the E-Nite from Cortina. I consciously chose it from the large selection of electric bikes for the following 6 reasons.
Reason 1. The looks
First of all, I think it looks super. Industrial, aluminum, and robust in the color Black Graphite Matt. The eye wants something too.
Reason 2. Unisex is the new sexy
The E-Nite is a unisex model, which is super handy because my husband can also take it out without getting any frowning looks. Thanks to the low step-through, I don't have to deal with flapping dresses when I get on.
Reason 3. The battery
The battery is integrated into the sleek frame and can be detached within one second to take inside. This makes it easy to charge. For example, you don't have to hang out of the window with an extension cord from the third floor to charge your battery. And also nice: charging is super fast. Depending on how empty it is, the battery is charged within two and a half to four and a half hours. I charge it every day so I never run into surprises.
Reason 4. Always light
The lighting is integrated into the frame and runs via the battery. Besides the fact that this looks neat and you don't have to struggle with batteries, it also ensures that the lights don't get damaged if you happen to drop your bike. With the small display on the handlebars, you can turn the lights on and off with one push of a button. That's something different than that dynamo you had to push against your front tire, remember?
Reason 5. 80 kilometers ahead in the peloton
With the eight gears, cycling through the city is nice and smooth and fast. With the wind at your back or against it: the perfect gear is always there. At the traffic light, I start in the light three without any trouble, and on a straight stretch, it naturally goes to eight (my favorite gear). With a full battery, I can cycle between 40 and 80 kilometers, depending on how much hurry I am in and which gear I use.
Reason 6. The upgrades
Finally, there are two different metal baskets available that you can easily click onto your frame. Handy, because I really find bike bags very silly, but I do want to be able to carry things. After all, I now cycle to work with it, so that laptop and that pack of oat milk have to come along.
Don't think my opinion is enough: the ANWB (and they know what they're talking about) has also tested it and their verdict was: good!
