Yesss, there it finally is: the iPhone 14. And I have it as we speak in my hands — in my case the Pro — and I'm in love again. Really bad, but when it comes to Apple gadgets, I must and will always have the latest of the latest. Whether it's their HomePod Mini (mega handy by the way, really a recommendation) or the new Apple Watch; I'm in.
Now, I really like to travel and I love taking beautiful photos. A few years ago, I bought a professional camera, which I have touched exactly zero times since I got the iPhone 12 Pro, and now with this 14, I don't need it at all. Seriously, those photos are so sharp and beautiful. Crazy.
Buuut we also have a new operating system: iOS 16. It's awesome. Love it. You can edit photos so easily with it (which I found annoying before with the iPhone); for example, you can paste an item from a certain photo onto another photo. I'm a crazy cat lady, and if I now hold my finger on my cat in the photo, my iPhone automatically removes the background. Really a very cool new feature.
I also really like the new home screen: you can now put different widgets on it, display the time in different fonts, and also have your background change continuously.
Yes Apple, you did it again. I'm still a fan.
