15x irritating, swishy comments

These days it seems like life coaches, breathing gurus and ‘awareness’ courses are popping up like mushrooms. Don't get me wrong, everyone should do what makes them happy, but somehow all those ice baths, moon sessions and ‘relaxing’ sounds of the handpan make me a bit creepy.
Becoming the best version of yourself is something everyone is pretty busy doing. I believe the part where people impose on others (often via social media) to do the same thing irritates me immensely. My entire ‘explore’ page is now full of spiritual advisers. Again: you do you, but the following statements make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up:
1. Trust the power of the universe.
And what should we do in the meantime?
2. Just breathe and let go.
I can tell you: that's a lot easier said than done.
3. My body is a temple.
In other words, don't stuff yourself full of white peppercorns this winter, but also watch what you wolf down a bit.
4. I teach you to be fully in your power.
So this is what you pay a life coach for.
5. We are not our thoughts. We are not our ego.
Of course, we are not our thoughts, but as long as you are not brain-dead they do haunt our heads.
6. I am just right the way I am.
One of a thousand affirmations.
7. To let go is to stop holding on.
There is something in that.
8. It's okay not to be okay.
Thankfully, this is the case almost every day.
9. I am taking a course with Wim Hof.
Well, I have nothing to do with ice baths and this man is also a bit out of my league by now.
10. Manifesting can be learned.
Well, so I have not been able to do that until today.
11. In spirituality, a bat symbolises rebirth.
Yes, I seriously read this somewhere.
12. Rising above your old self.
Again, so abstract, I just don't have the patience for this.
13. Always listen to your inner voice.
Well, good luck with that.
14. Self-care is not selfish.
Totally agree, me-time is incredibly important.
15. Let yourself go with the flow instead of paddling against the river
A fine inspirational ending, knot it well in your ears.
