Kanye West in conversation with Piers Morgan

That Kanye ‘Ye’ West has not been doing well lately is now known worldwide. Although I wonder if he sees it that way, because I think he believes that everything is going just fine and he makes some pretty blunt remarks, and that is actually an even scarier thought. It has been known for some time that Kanye is bipolar, which comes with manic episodes. It seems that he is currently in the midst of one. There are medications for that, but Kanye has previously stated that he does not want to take those medications when he makes music.

The scary part of this is the bizarre and hateful lyrics he sends out into the world. After racist and far-right tirades, he has now targeted the Jewish faith. Without any reason (not that there is one), because Kanye cannot actually explain why he behaves this way and where these terrifying visions come from.

This was evident in his interview with Piers Morgan. This interview was already called ‘uncensored’, and that is indeed what happened: Kanye could say whatever he wanted. And so could Piers Morgan. Hats off to the latter, who managed to hold himself back and not be provoked by Kanye West. What I found intense about this interview is that we usually see his strange tweets or Instagram posts, but this is all in text.

In this interview, it becomes very clear that he is currently really, for lack of a better word, derailed. He spouts nonsense and laughs hard at his own comments that make no sense. He calls the media racist, but when Piers Morgan wants to confirm this, Kanye replies: ‘Whaaaat? Please. Next question. Don’t ask me retarded questions.’

Not to mention his statements about the Jewish faith (which Piers Morgan also says he is not Jewish but even he feels offended). Kanye gets angry when he feels he is being cut off and calls Piers Morgan (a 57-year-old respected journalist and host) multiple times ‘boy’. The whole interview is really bizarre. And then my question: what now? Why is no one intervening? There were rumors that Kanye's circle hoped that ex Kim Kardashian would reach out to him, but (and she is right) she chooses her own safety and especially that of her children. After watching this interview, it is clearer than ever that things are just NOT going well with Kanye West.
