KFC is greatly expanding their vegetarian menu

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: KFC is greatly expanding their vegetarian menu.

Last week I completely rediscovered KFC. I hadn't been there for years, until last Thursday. It might have been more than ten years. Sorry KFC, I apologize. And it really won't take that long again, because I seriously enjoyed it. Those hot wings in a bucket are just truly unmatched, that's a fact as far as I'm concerned.

That might also be what they are most known for, and that is not entirely fair. Vegetarians can also easily stop by KFC for a meal. Especially now: Kentucky Fried Chicken has a new addition to their vegetarian range.

They conducted a trial at six KFC locations for a while, and it was quite a success. Such a success that these new Veggie Tenders are available nationwide starting today. Completely vegetarian, based on the plant-based protein mycoprotein. Never heard of it, but my interest is piqued.

These Veggie Tenders are available in a bucket (love it), but also in a wrap or as a veggie burger. I might just go again this Thursday, because I enjoyed it so much AND because I want to try these. By the way, I’m not in a hurry, because these Original Recipe Veggie Tenders will be permanently on their menu starting today. Good job, KFC.
