Why Khloé Kardashian is the real MVP of the Kardashian success

Yeah, you probably thought that Kim Kardashian is the secret of the Kardashian family, right? Or maybe Kris Jenner, who saw dollar amounts when her daughter Kim made a sex tape with Ray J. Side note: that same Ray J is heavily on the expose tour and has even leaked parts of the signed contract. Kris and Kim have maintained all this time that the release of the sex tape was outside their knowledge and will, but that now seems to be a bit different.

Well, that sex tape did ensure that the whole family got their own series, namely Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Two seasons ago it was taken over for Hulu and continued as The Kardashians. In total, they have done 21 seasons and the 22nd premiered yesterday. But who has carried all those seasons like a Queen? Exactly: Khloé Kardashian. And I want to talk about that because she is the underrated star of this entire reality series.

You mainly watch such a reality series for the drama and (unfortunately) Khloé has provided that all those seasons. Her tumultuous relationship with Lamar Odom, his drug addiction, when he ended up in the hospital with an overdose and barely survived: everything was filmed for the reality series. When she later found love again with Tristan, that was also widely covered, for example, through their house-hunting, but especially because of his escapades with other women. How Khloé was heavily pregnant with their daughter True and came out (days before she was due to give birth) that he had cheated with an unknown woman.

And yes, all of that was filmed and discussed in detail. Yesterday, during the premiere of the 22nd season, it was again about Khloé: she found out that Tristan Thompson had fathered a child with his personal trainer, days after they had implanted a fertilized embryo in the womb of a surrogate mother. Again, it was Khloé who appeared crying in front of the cameras and aired her dirty laundry.

But where is Kim's drama then? During the filming of this 22nd season, she was still with Pete Davidson and we even saw him in the trailers. But yes, that relationship is now over and the Pete-Kim storyline has therefore been completely scrapped. And so Khloé has to air the dirty laundry, but oh dear if a word is mentioned about Kim's failed rebound.

And where are those dirty details about Kanye and her then? Kanye has dominated Instagram in recent months with his spicy texts, which were also directed at Kim. So far, we haven't seen anything of that in their entire reality series. It seems like Kim is mainly focused on maintaining her image: failed relationships are a no-go, just like an ex who is mentally unstable and gives her a bad look.

I could write a whole essay about the fact that Khloé not only shares the most of her private life, but also gets the most crap thrown at her: she would be the least pretty of the sisters, the one who was always ‘too fat’, the one who has supposedly had the most work done on herself, the one who actually has a different father than the others...

Khloé, doesn't your back hurt from carrying those 22 seasons of this reality series? Okay, okay, I admit: we should also be grateful to Kourtney and Scott.
