Linda is sweet

It's the conversation that comes up every time: shouldn't we take a family in? Then we say things like: ‘Yes, but for how long is it?’ and: ‘We don't live that large’ and we do other things to support the refugees. And we point to people with a villa because hey, they have plenty of space.
I find it a very uncomfortable discussion because I believe you can't decide such things for someone else, no matter how big their house is. But if someone does it: wow. Respect. Linda de Mol has taken in a mother and her children. Because there is, ironically terribly, a spot that has become available. And there is warmth. I hope that the Ukrainian woman and her children bring some joy back into Linda's life so that she can sometimes totally forget all the misery of the past months for just a little while.
