You undoubtedly know them: those people in your app who literally never, ever use an emoji.

No monkey with hands over its mouth, no ghost shouting ‘OMG’, and also no laughing crying smiley, which is still the most used of them all.

No, some people just don't do that. Maybe once a year a Santa or something. Or once a month fireworks. Those emojis that people hardly use further, that idea. You also have people who just talk in the language of emojis and only send hearts, smiling faces, or big eyes that are in shock. Wonderful. But you know what's so striking is? Those people who never send an emoji are said to be more successful in life.

According to psychologists, this is how it works: they are precisely those people who are business-minded. They think practically and seriously, they are the leaders of the group. They are not emotional but rather rational. They don't mind if others send an emoji, but they just don't do it themselves. They don't find it necessary. They make their point clear enough in words. Preferably even with a period at the end of their sentence. These people are very business-minded and can start a business like no other, which makes them, yes, often very rich. Or become rich. Or at least experience quite a bit of personal success.

So before you go off with all those monkeys, pizzas, and stars and ghosts: you can also leave it. If you never send an emoji again, you suddenly come across as very businesslike. Who knows, it might help you in your career?
