Royal Report from Prince Charming

Oooh, I was really looking forward to this. This season is going by a bit too fast for my liking, but we should just enjoy it while we can. And after the finale, we obviously have the reunion: something I'm also really looking forward to, because quite a few guys have already passed through. Okay, enough chit-chat, let's just dive into that episode. Joejoeee.

1. Delicious. I am genuinely looking forward to this, to the meeting with friends and family. I truly believe that you can read a lot about someone by looking at the people they associate with.

2. That Marcel. So sweet. ‘Are you also ehh... Interested in who I have signed up?’ I seriously want to give him a hug every episode.

3. Hey, something else. We're now at episode 8 and no one has started flirting yet. What's up with that? Only handsome guys and no hook-ups?

4. And in episode eight, Chris finally loosens up a bit. In fact, he even dares to be a bit cheeky with Jimmy. Yeah, he's looking for his own challenges, you know, in terms of sports exercises.

5. It's a bit awkward that Marcel and Jakop wanted to talk just the two of them because they really like Chris and then completely miss Chris. Awkward.

6. Wait, WHUT? Lesley. Lesley!! What are you doing to us? I could cry. He was so nice.

7. And that emotional moment is completely overshadowed by Chris’ voice-over that he probably wrote down first and then recorded about eight times. They went for the eighth recording, considering the lack of spontaneity.

8. So unfortunate, because Chris comes across as really nice when he's with those guys. Maybe he should just have a glass of wine for the voice-over or they should let him loosen up a bit behind the scenes? Idea for the suggestion box?

9. Aah, that Jimmy is of course really missing his buddy. What a nice friendship they had built here.

11. Chris, I understood it too. Although I still find it quite intimate, you know.

12. Oh nooo, I'm feeling gloomy about Jimmy. Is it really due to feelings or just because there are no feelings? Very curious. Or is it just that no one is leaving because Lesley is already gone? I'm voting for that.

15. So kissing is not cheating for Chris. He says it so casually. Am I really so old-fashioned that I wouldn't actually like that?

16. But does that also mean that he doesn't care that Scott and Jakop shared a quick kiss? Probably. But that really wasn't worth it (I was hoping for more).

17. Because this kiss is a whole different story. I see a finalist in Scott. The tension between those two is really palpable. I feel a bit voyeuristic.

18. Yeah, this is going to be an ‘open relationship’-gate. Can't be helped. It's going to have a little tail.

19. I have the feeling that Marcel is actually just in shock the whole episode. And mainly in shock about who Chris is kissing. He gets shocked every minute.

20. The golden rule in any show is: the one who says they are not worried gets eliminated. And in this case, that would be Jimmy and that would be stupid.

21. But honestly: I don't want any of them to go home. If Chris is open to an open relationship, let them all live together happily.

22. Marcel's butt has already been mentioned twice in one minute and now I almost feel like rewinding to take a look – because I completely missed this on camera.

23. HAHA. While Tony endlessly talked about it with his women, Chris just says very dryly: ‘And that's you, Marcel.’ The end.

24. Well, that's a bummer. That Jimmy will still find love. Handsome inside and out.

25. But, are we having the finale next week then? How fast has that gone, I must say. Hallelujah. Time flies.
