You want this: a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini

Haaalleluja, this sounds good. Even though the Pumpkin Spice season is almost coming to an end, I'm going to drink this until next summer. And maybe even longer. Because this really sounds heavenly. Yes people, it exists: a Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini. DIVINE.

There are several recipes to be found on the internet, and good news: there is also a non-alcoholic recipe to make. If you want to get through Dry January (I don't want to think about it yet) this is a good alternative.

Here is the recipe as described on the site of Kahlúa, because if a company knows what they are talking about, it is them of course. You need to get this at home:

  • Ice cubes
  • One measure of Kahlúa
  • One measure of vodka
  • Two shots of espresso
  • One teaspoon of Pumpkin Spice syrup (they recommend the one from Monin)
  • Two shots of milk

And shake it up. You will need a shaker, a measure for cocktails, and a strainer. They are actually not that expensive (for example this one from the Beehive) and also fun to give (and receive) during the holidays.

Preferably alcohol-free? Then make this Mocktini from Olivia Noceda – it might look even more festive than the alcoholic version.
