INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
- 200 ml pancake batter
- powdered sugar (optional)
- maple syrup
Besides the quarantine banana breads, everyone surely knows someone who loves banana pancakes in the morning. Logical, because with a few overripe bananas, eggs, baking powder, and a pinch of cinnamon, you can whip up a top breakfast in no time. Also try this: these small pancakes made from half a banana with chocolate pieces: oh, so delicious!
This is how you make the chocolate chip banana pancakes lollies
1. Cut the banana in half widthwise and stick it on a lollipop stick. A large skewer cut in half works too.
2. Make the pancake batter and pour it into a tall measuring cup.
3. Press the chocolate chips or chopped chocolate into the banana and dip it into the batter.
4. Then immediately fry them in a hot frying pan until golden brown on both sides. Then pour a splash of water into the pan and put the lid on. The steam in the pan ensures that all the batter cooks and the banana becomes warm and soft.
5. Sprinkle with some powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
Tip: instead of chocolate chips, you can also use small cubes of caramel.
