TikToker eats at the best restaurant in the world and finds it terrible

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: TikTokker eats at the best restaurant in the world and finds it terrible.
One of the advantages of TikTok: it shows you things you have never been to. I've wanted to go to Noma for years, but I had no idea what it really looked like inside. But then came TikTokker Tansu Philip across my For You Page, who had the luck to dine there. Well, of course, I sat down for that. It can only be enjoyable, right? Nope: she found it terrible. And that's what her whole TikTok is about.
HOW?! was my first thought when I read in her caption that she absolutely would not recommend it. The best restaurant in the world and you think it's nothing? Then she must have found it too expensive, I thought afterwards. I can understand that: you really have to love food to spend this much on a dinner. But no, that wasn't it either. She just really didn't like it.
‘What are those flowers doing on my plate?’
Well, it quickly became clear to me that Tansu is not exactly a foodie foodie, as she was shocked by the edible flowers during the first course. That can happen, and foodies can also go out for luxury dining, but if you don't like mushrooms and don't like cauliflower and still decide to eat at Noma (which has been in the top three of the best restaurants in the world) when they serve their VEGETABLE menu, then you've really lost me.
Still, I kept watching because I was curious about what all the courses looked like. Tansu's comments became increasingly refined: ‘This was a cauliflower waffle. I don’t like cauliflower, so this course was just like… whatever.’ Strong. She continued: ‘Then we got this stuffed pepper situation.’ To describe a course from a menu that costs a fortune as a ‘situation’, I have some thoughts on that. And that one was also described afterwards as ‘kind of… whatever.’
Well, you might as well watch the TikTok yourself. Tansu Philips definitely wins the award for the most uninterested guest that Noma has ever received, I think. She just hasn't convinced me; I still want to eat at Noma. See if you feel the same way. Or not. Whatever.
