14 Situations Everyone Recognizes from Rollercoaster Tycoon

I used to only play two games on the computer: The Sims and Rollercoaster Tycoon. I could entertain myself for hours with them. In fact, I think I could still do it. I recently downloaded The Sims again (version four by now), but unfortunately, I can't really find Rollercoaster Tycoon anymore and of course, I want the old-fashioned one. Part one and two were pure enjoyment, but after that, it got less and less. I think even the fourth part suddenly became 3D: completely unnecessary. Rollercoaster Tycoon was just so beautiful in its simplicity AND you could have fun causing chaos. Recognizable? Then you must have done these things too.

1. Letting the roller coaster with a single loop go so fast that all the passengers flew out and died

2. Blocking the exit when you had a huge number of people in your park so that no one could go home

3. And then still being disturbed by all those notifications like ‘Guest 2481382 wants to go home and can't find the exit’

4. Making the prices of the umbrellas a hundred times more expensive when it rains

5. Making the boat ride so awkward that they can never dock again

6. Letting a roller coaster go so slowly that it takes years for them to come out again

7. And once again going crazy from all the notifications like ‘Guest 3598230 is on roller coaster 3 and can't get off’

8. Paying a fortune to cleaners because everyone is throwing up all over your park (and why always right in front of the toilet?!)

9. Instantly becoming happy when you hear the tune of the carousel again

10. But then not being able to get it out of your head for days

11. Paying extra so that you could get new attractions in your park as quickly as possible

12. But being disappointed when you already had all possible roller coasters and then getting a boring new swinging ship
