Here we should have a word for this in Dutch

Probably many will agree with me: Dutch is not necessarily the most beautiful language ever. On the contrary, I find it anything but charming. Or feminine. Or elegant. We don't sound as angry as German, but really gentle is different. Personally, I find English really beautiful — and I have the idea that you can express yourself much better and more beautifully in that language. In Italian likewise. French is of course the language of love (typical that as a 32-year-old single with a knack for languages I just can't get that language right) and sounds so wonderfully melodic. But aside from the intonation and way of speaking, it's of course about the words. And even there, Dutch is somewhat lacking.

Just check the words below: can we please get those in Dutch as soon as possible?

1. Kuchisabishii (Japanese): when you are not hungry, but eat because your mouth is lonely

2. Chi Ku (吃苦) (Chinese): to ‘eat bitterness’, meaning to experience many things without becoming a bitter person

3. Pochemuchka (Russian): a person who always asks too many questions

4. Koi no yokan (Japanese): the feeling when you meet someone for the first time and have the idea that you are going to fall in love with them

5. Tsundoku (Japanese): a verb that refers to buying a book that you then never read

6. Verschlimmbesserung (German): an attempt at improvement that has the opposite effect

7. Backpfeifengesicht (German): a face that needs a slap

8. Gigil (Filipino): the urge to squeeze or cuddle something that is irresistibly cute
