In this resort you can swim in red wine

Red wine spa

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: In this resort you can swim in red wine.

For years this country has been on my bucket list, and the plan is now really to go next year: Japan. My main reason for wanting to go there is the food, but now there is another reason added: swimming in red wine. Living the dream. Because yes, this is possible in Japan: and besides red wine, you can also swim in green tea, sake, and coffee. But that's not really my preference, of course.

Where this is? In the Yunessun Spa Resort in Kanagawa, near Tokyo. It may sound strange, but it is also genuinely good for you: even Cleopatra would have done it, because it helps against aging. Look, that's good news.

You want to go here right away?
It also looks incredibly fun, and three times a day they refill the pool and that is quite an event to see. Important side note: it is absolutely not the intention that you drink it. I can imagine that the urge is hard to suppress, but please don't.

Anyway, this whole resort looks really brilliant by the way: they have a gigantic water park, a jungle climbing course in the water, various waterfalls and pools in caves, where you are surrounded by aquariums full of jellyfish. Oh, and also gigantic pools from Dr. Fish; you know, where you can put your feet in and those little fish nibble away all the dirt. Personally, I find that a true nightmare (but I also have a huge phobia of fish), but others are always so enthusiastic about it.
