SURVEY AMONG MCDONALD’S FANS YIELDS HILARIOUS RESULTS

Mac Donald's

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: survey among McDonald’s fans yields hilarious results.

You either love the Mac or you don’t, and if you do, well, then you’re sometimes really a bit crazy, mwahahaha. Not necessarily you personally, but just read along to see what a survey conducted by the British agency OnePoll produced in terms of hilarious outcomes.

The poll concerned the feelings of fans who had to miss the Mac during the lockdown in the United Kingdom and who were finally allowed to indulge again. The results are (not yet) available at OnePoll, but British media are already reporting that the answers (from a thousand fast food enthusiasts) are extremely surprising. Are you guilty of this too?

17 percent of respondents said that the taste of a Big Mac (after having to miss it during the strict lockdown) was better than a pay raise. Uh, what?

1 in 20 would care if a partner secretly went to the Mac alone and got caught after weeks of (Mac) abstinence. That relationship might not have been going so well anyway...

1 in 10 saw the above as cheating anyway. Strict crowd, those Mac lovers.

1 in 5 was happier to be able to go to or past the Mac than if ‘his/her’ football team would win the league. Apparently, a supporter’s love goes through the stomach.

1 in 10 would rather live without a mobile phone than without a Big Mac. Okay...

Some, on the other hand, do not have the most unique memories of their wedding day, as 13 percent said that the first time at McDonald’s after the lockdown felt just as good as that day. What is your answer to that?

And then the true crazies: 16 percent indicated that the feeling of Mac reunion was comparable to the birth of a first child... (Who are these people??)

And what might sound like music to the ears of the Jellinek clinics and the government: 46 percent said they would rather give up alcohol than their favorite burger. Santé!
