The best breakfast ever: croissant cereal

Six out of seven days I skip lettuce in my breakfast, but if this trend were to catch on in the Netherlands, that would be a thing of the past. Because how fun are these cereal croissants? Bakeries all over the Netherlands, if you're reading this: please add this to your assortment as soon as possible.

Otherwise, I have to go all the way to L’Appartement 4F in Brooklyn Heights, New York, to pick them up. That in itself is of course not a punishment, but it is quite expensive. And the cereals are already quite pricey, namely 50 dollars.

One by one handmade
Each mini croissant is handmade, so that also explains the high price. How is it made? Each croissant is rolled, baked, dipped in a homemade cinnamon syrup (so delicious) and then dried again. The result: the breakfast of your dreams.

It will not surprise you, but people are really raving about these cereals. They are so popular that they are currently completely sold out at L’Appartement 4F. GFortunately, they have plenty of other delicious things though, but these are really at the top of my list of things I want to try. So once again my call to Dutch bakeries: Please. Make. This.
