Why this season of The Traitors was the best ever

It's a bit of a bummer, because indeed: I've already finished the special season of De Verraders. It was a Halloween special with six episodes, but they went by here at a brisk pace. That was mainly because I really found this the best season of De Verraders so far. It. Had. EVERYTHING. Every episode had a bizarre twist, nothing was as it seemed, and people you really thought would be kicked out within two episodes were suddenly still in the last episode. So here's a list (with as few spoilers as possible, in case you still need to start), why this was the absolute best season so far.
1. Frank Evenblij is just the best. Sorry Art, sorry Tijl, we only want Frank from now on.
2. The participants: I was so surprised by that. To be honest, after Expeditie I was a fan of Soundos, but she has somewhat managed to redeem that image.
3. Okay, after the whole ‘I'm not participating anymore, frie de piepol’ from Famke Louise, I didn't think much of her, but holy shit, she is so sweet. Very calm, secretly knows everything and very loyal. Love Famke from now on.
4. And then you would think that De Verraders should be afraid of being caught by the Getrouwen, but no, they should rather be afraid of each other. Bizarre. They are constantly screwing each other over. Stress level 1000 was already for me as a viewer, let alone if you were one of those Verraders.
5. That one of De Verraders just gets booted out in the very first Round Table. So hilarious. And we obviously saw that coming from miles away, because this Verrader was so obvious.
6. Anyway, two of the first three Verraders were quite obvious. Strange choices by the makers.
7. So nice to see another side of celebrities like Dennis Weening (what a nice guy) and Bobbi Eden.
8. No downside? Okay, one then. What on earth did Ayoub do wrong with the makers? I think he really had about a minute of screentime in all the episodes. Weird.
In short: definitely watch. When is the new season coming? It takes a long time.
